- Apologies for Absence (Chair)
To receive and accept apologies where valid reasons for absence have been given to the Town Clerk prior to the meeting.
- To receive declarations of interest under the Localism Act 2011-being any pecuniary interest in agenda items not previously recorded on Members’ Register of Interests and any written request for dispensation. (ALL)
- To receive a report on the previous action points from the Town Clerk (BS)
- To receive Highways’ update (BS)
- To receive update on the play area floor refurbishment (LM)
- To receive update on Youth Council and Youth Engagement and to consider the placement of the previous agreed table tennis table in the play are (MH)
- To receive feedback on Franklin Week with recommendations for 2022 (LM)
- Members are asked to agree the action to be taken regarding the Best Dressed Front Garden Competition previously agreed by Full Council.
- Members are asked to formulate a plan for the Christmas Lights installation and to consider appointing the Festivities Committee to take control of the arrangements (report to be tabled)
- Members are asked to consider and approve
- an Open Day in the TOC H with picnic and selecting a date
- the rebuilding of the ‘snake’ (to be cemented in)
- delegating the organisation to the Open Spaces Team
- Members are asked to consider and approve the date for the Picnic in the Park 2021/ and or holding a themed market and celebration of restrictions for lockdown. (MH)
- Members are asked to consider holding a 40s weekend in the town.
- Members are asked to consider and approve the design for the blue plaque for Sir John Franklin. (KW)
- Members are asked to consider applying for power points for be installed with the town as per Full Council Meeting held 24th June 2021.
- Members are asked to consider the purchase of a fruit tree to commemorate the Covid 19 and if agreed, to consider the site for the tree as presented by Cllr Wood. (KW)
- Members are asked to consider a date for starting the market stall on Mondays and to delegate the compilation of the rota to a specified councillor.
